1 January 2017
2016 was a rollarcoaster of ups and downs. It was a year of travel, adventures and life lessons.
After reading Sophie Milner's '10 Lessons 2016 Taught Me About Love And Life', my mind was buzzing with thoughts. However, getting those typed out on my laptop screen is proving to be a challenge. Words are not my forte. In a nutshell, I've learned to be more accepting of myself (I don't have flat abs, so what?). I've also realised the importance of being treated with respect. If you're feeling unappreciated or disrespected (whether it's work, friends or guys) it's important to take control, speak up and make changes. Putting yourself first and not concerning yourself with what other people think is refreshing. That may sound like a selfish statement. What I mean is that it's vital to do what makes you happy, not what you think is expected off you or what will please other people. Don't think twice about swapping that pub session for a gym workout or a chilled night in with a good book. What did you learn in the last twelve months?
The series of photographs is a condensed version of twenty-sixteen.
