Sunglasses - Primark/Penneys
Ring - Diwali
Shirt - H&M

I threw this on for my last wander around the Marais - the Jewish Quarter - during my last weekend in Paris. I love going there on Sundays, its always full of life (Most of Paris closes om Sundays cept for Museums, the Champs Elysee etc.) Its such a cool place to go for a wander, its overflowing with great food places and vintage stores.

And In case you haven't noticed, I am still crazy about my bowler hat & faux litas!! =)

Rock en Seine

Necklace - Stall in Paris
Peplum Top - Zara
Skirt - A/Wear
Faux Lita Boots - ebay
Bowler Hat - H&M

Wore this to Rock en Seine at the weekend. I actually wore it with tan leather sandals but I just couldn't resist photographing my new faux Lita's that I found on ebay for a nice bargain! I was super happy when they arrived - picture kid-in-a-candy-shop type of excitement! I have also fallen for my new bowler hat - I've been lusting after them for bloody ages but never thought I could pull them off. But for the festival, I thought 'feck it, why not!'. And finally, my necklace looks like a few scraps of metal strung together & I love it!!

Went to the Rock en Seine music festival over the weekend! It was pretty damn cool! The Temper Trap is one of my all-time favourite bands so I was happy out when they came on stage! Also found my new addiction in the form of 'Of Monsters & Men' - every song they played was really good!! Youtube them now!! Ed Sheeran came on after dark. . . he's really into getting the crowd to sing along! All in all, defo a festival worth going to! =)

In my oh-so-humble opinion - the best songs from the festival!

Tiger Print

Top - New Look
Skirt - New Look
Allegra Boots - Topshop
Blazer - Primark/Penneys
Sunglasses - H&M
Cocktail Ring - Freedom at Topshop
Watch - Casio
Belt & Scarf - Vintage Desire Paris

I'll admit I've never been a big belt person.  Sure, I have a few knocking around the back of the wardrobe, but I gotta say they're rarely a 'feature' in my outfits - Quel dommage! - but as soon as I laid eyes on this Vintage forest green leather one, I knew times were changing! As far as belts go, this one is the creme de la creme for me. Perfect colour/buckle/material/size/price (€5). . .  the list is endless. And before I stop my rambling, I should also mention how cute this cheap-as-chips scarf is - a cool alternative to the oh-so-popular leopard print.

Btw I'd be super happy if you could like it on LOOK Street Style

Balenciga Exhibition

Went for a gawk at the gorgeous 19th & 20th century designer dresses at the Docks in Paris last weekend. The first two dresses were the stand-out pieces for me! But I must admit, it was not quite amazing as the Louis-Vuitton / Marc Jacobs exhibition I went to a while back - that was INCREDIBLE!!!

The exhibition was in the cool Docks building - it makes me thing of comic books and the incredible hulk!?

July Haul

Belt - Vintage Desire Paris
Nail Polish - America Apparel
Earrings - H&M
Collar - Diwali Paris
Hair Pins - Chez Nana Paris
Rings - Chez Nana Paris
Earrings - Chez Nana Paris

I am a self-confessed Jewellery Magpie!  I'm sure this comes as no surprise if you've been following my blog. My favourite Jewellery shop EVERRRRRRRRR closed for August so I went in on the last day and raided the place! Its called Chez Nana and is near Bonne Nouvelle in Paris. Which reminds me - the "house" from Taken where the girls are drugged and trained by their Albanian captors is down the street from where I work! So random! Good thing its only a movie...

Which in turn reminds me that this time last year I was in Las Vegas!

Myself & the girls before out Hangover III adventures began!

Thrown Together

This will come as NO surprise to those of you who know me well - but I was running late when I was heading out last night - so I literally threw on this outfit, took a quick qawk in the mirror, and ran out the door. I think its cause I got carried away straightening my hair - which usually takes approx. a decade to accomplish. So I threw the outfit back on today to take a few snaps. Et VoilĂ , there ya have it! For a €5 skirt, it's not doing too bad.

The heatwave in Paris this weekend is a little cray cray. Dunno how Mam will stick it when she arrives over in a week's time! My poor midget legs got attacked by a swarm of Mosquitoes yesterday  - they're driving me up the wall!

The View from My Room while I sort out the blog =)
